The screen is very vibrant & extremely vivid, I find it just beautiful. I’ve read reviews on other sites complaining about the large size of it, please remember this is a 17.3″ laptop. It is a nice size laptop & will of course be a bit heavier than an 11″. If you aren’t sure how big it is, please grab a tape measure & measure 17.3″ diagonally. Rating the laptop lower because you didn’t want a large laptop is just plain idiotic. I plugged it in & turned it on. I was expecting to have to fight with it to set up the network connection (sometimes connections are a hassle), but this laptop made it so easy. I was able to set up my network within the first two minutes of having turned it on. It booted up, I typed in my network key, & I was connected, easy as that. (Review More…)

I brought this Acer due to the fact a car accident put me in bed after a while. Previously I usually enjoyed how you got a lot more bang for your buck with a desktop. Anyway, considering that I wasn’t organizing for the obtain, I initially was looking for machines under $1000. But then I saw the Acer for about 1/2 that cost. I was stuck on it simply because in contrast to several other machines in it’s cost range, it had 1GB of RAM installed; which I heard was a must for MS Vista. So I took the plunge. Right away, I was impressed with the sleek look of this laptop. When closed, it truly is metallic silver with “Acer” placed demurely on the upper corner of the lid. Opening it up reveals a black keyboard placed close towards the screen to afford sufficient room to rest your wrists. The display is gorgeous…clear and crisp. You might have the standard laptop goodies…like a DVD burner, a multi-card reader, Ethernet port, USB ports. The only thing lacking was the Firewire port. (Review More…)

This laptop is a superb get. It is thin, light, fast, and the battery lasts forever (even though i turn the screen brightness down to conserve power). The keyboard fits my hands really nicely and I genuinely take pleasure in how the buttons are created (just like Macbooks). I’ve my Television plugged in working with the HDMI port all of the time and it works quite nicely for numerous applications. The launch manager button (the ‘P’) is astounding for speedily beginning regularly applied programs. The 14″ screen is perfect for me simply because its in between that massive gaming screen along with the modest netbook. My only issue with this laptop is that the speakers aren’t as excellent as I might like. You have got to be proper in front of the screen for the most beneficial good quality, as well as at max volume it is not that loud. All in all this is a great laptop for the cost. (Read More…)
