Apple iBook Laptop 12.1" M9164LL/A (800-MHz PowerPC G4, 256 MB RAM, 30 GB Hard Drive, DVD/CD-RW Drive)I just lately bought an ibook G4 coming from a two.4GHz pentium 4 desktop at perform. I decided on the ibook since I wanted a thing small, reasonably priced, using a high amount of quality for my home/sometimes work use. I had a opportunity to take a great look at Dell laptops that had been recently purchased at my function and was not very impressed with the solidity with the little, lightweight laptops. They have also had their share computer software glitches which did not impress me and needed external CD/DVD drives. I’ll tell you, it was a bit scary to move for the Apple machine, but so far it has been a content marriage. This machine says good quality. For the applications I use (spreadsheets, word processors, net, games…) you cannot tell there is a speed distinction between the P4 desktop. This comuter is a lot rapid. Surfing the net (as opposed to other reviews) is really a breeze and is as fast because the desktop by means of the cable or T1 connection I use. The points I like are the size, speed, keyboard, battery life, stability, feel, too as the looks. I also can access our Windows based network to retreive e-mails, etc. with out any problem. Apparently the Panther 10.three OS delivers superior security when surfing that is good, considering that I do loads of shopping more than the net. This was a concern I had with the latest Windows OS. Also, many people have commented that the white keyboard can get dirty rapidly. I have not experienced this dilemma however (washed hands?), but when shopping for a pc, I in fact looked for a light colored/white keyboard so I could tell when the keyboard is dirty. Who knows what sort of junk is on a black keyboard! In any case, the keyboard pops out and is easy to clean. In summary, this can be a well enginerred, good quality laptop which will permit you to interface with your Windows work environment. Nice function.

Apple MacBook Air MC505LL/A 11.6-Inch Laptop (OLD VERSION)

Product Review

I have a somewhat intriguing take on the 11.6-inch MacBook Air. I chose the 13-inch model for myself, but my father who is constantly on the go for company, chose this 11.6-inch model. He wanted the extra portability, and I wanted the additional efficiency of the bigger machine. Visually, the machines look different. My 13-inch model doesn’t look drastically diverse from the front or rear compared to a full featured MacBook Pro. In other words, on the 13-inch model, which I enjoy, the footprint of the device is basically exactly the same as a 13-inch MacBook Pro. The distinction is the slim side profile, and the two missing pounds. This 11-inch model just isn’t only light and thin, but has a smaller footprint too. It truly is striking to see. It looks tiny, and it is gorgeous. I do have some envy for the portability of this model compared to my own, which is light, but however takes up just as considerably space so to say as a MacBook Pro. (Read More…)

Product Review

As an owner of the 2011 17-inch MBP my expectations for the new 11.6 MBA had been high. I can’t stress how impressed I’m with this little machine. If you are seeking for an ultra portable, this is the one to own. It is faster than our 2009 MBP by leaps and bounds in all key applications (iMovie, Word, Powerpoint, PhotoBooth, iTunes) as well as the cost from Amazon was just proper. If you’re searching to replace a primary computer I’d recommend going for the larger, 13-inch model, but if you’re supplementing a household function station or focused on light travel you cannot beat the 11.6-inch. Be sure you get this model, 4GB of RAM is really (Read More…)
