Those of us that build our own PC’s know Asus as a best high quality brand for hardware components. I purchased this laptop for work/light-duty everyday use. The new i3 processor is more then up to the task and I’m almost willing to bet it’s probably a little bit faster and much better processing power as my Core 2 Quad that I’ve in my desktop machine. The chicklet keyboard does take just a little to obtain used to and also the the fit and finish for the keyboard garnish could possibly be greater where it snaps into the chassis near the top of the computer. The speakers, for becoming altec lansing are just a little lucklaster, but that could possibly be towards the reality that they are upwards firing speakers rather of being on-axis with your ears. For many average users to surf the internet, check emails, and so on., this is possibly a great pc to go with to replace a bulky desktop unit and it’s spec’ed up sufficient that 1 can have a longer service life with it with no the hardware going obsolete.
