I purchased this laptop two weeks ago, it’s really light and looks nice, which can satisfy what I want, but there are some troubles I am not satisfied with. First of all, the battery’s life is not what offcial website states. The truth is, the battery life is only about four hours if the brightness is moderate and connecting wireless. Furthemore, the cost is comparatively expensive. The price I wish to pay for is about 420~450 dollars. The advantage is the screen is excellent and keyborad is also nice to press along with the charger is really light. (More Detail…)

Essential a $400-laptop as a present for my grandfather-in-law. Nothing at all fancy, just 15″ screen, keyboard, and decent speakers. I wanted to avoid AMD-powered laptops. This one particular seemed to fit the bill, and it works fine. It really is pretty light, sub-6 lb. The screen is a lot vivid, the keyboard layout is regular, mousepad is comfortable. The battery lasts a few hours, at the very least, I didn’t time it. There’s adequate RAM for any standard office job, as well as the dual-core CPU is a lot rapidly for exactly the same tasks. The screen is very vibrant & extremely vivid, I find it just beautiful. I’ve read reviews on other sites complaining about the large size of it, please remember this is a 17.3″ laptop. It is a nice size laptop & will of course be a bit heavier than an 11″. If you aren’t sure how big it is, please grab a tape measure & measure 17.3″ diagonally. Rating the laptop lower because you didn’t want a large laptop is just plain idiotic. I plugged it in & turned it on. I was expecting to have to fight with it to set up the network connection (sometimes connections are a hassle), but this laptop made it so easy. I was able to set up my network within the first two minutes of having turned it on. It booted up, I typed in my network key, & I was connected, easy as that. (Review More…)

This laptop was not worth the cash when it was new. This laptop replaced my old dell latitude C640. It’s an OK laptop that does the job. But I’d agree with the other reviewed that “it ought to run faster” taking into consideration the specs. In comparing the specs vs. my old C640, it is got double the memory, double the CPU, double the harddrive, and so on… yet I only see a marginal performance improvement. I have run windows XP, Vista, and wasn’t especially impressed with the efficiency of either of them. I’m running 2003 server and it seems to be much better now. There’s a lot of harddrive noise. There is also an issue with feedback on my telephone when I get close to the pc… presumably as a result of a faulty ground someplace on the laptop. It is also a bit heavier then I’d like. On the pro side, the screen is good and huge, the keyboard is big and comfortable, has four USB ports, and came with two batteries (one of which has already died). (Review More…)
